The Tuff Stuff Trailhead is a lightweight, two-person soft shell roof top tent that gets you off the ground fast. At only 110 lbs, it bolts onto most roof racks and sets up quickly by one person, making it an easy first step into roof top tent camping.

Light, Simple and Ready to Go

An aluminum honeycomb floor keeps the weight down while still supporting up to 800 lbs. Inside, a 55" x 95" foam sleeping pad with a cotton top cover gives two people room to rest, and multiple mosquito-net windows keep air flowing on warm nights.

Weather-Ready Fabrics

The tent body is made from 600D polyester Oxford and the rain fly from 420D polyester Oxford, both PU coated with a 3000 mm waterproof rating and UV50+ protection. A 1000D waterproof PVC cover protects the tent on the road.

Installation

• Crossbars must run left to right, carry at least 150 lbs and be at least 40" apart.
• On a pickup, a truck bed rack is strongly recommended rather than the cab roof.

FAQ

Will this tent fit my vehicle?
Roof top tents are not vehicle-specific. Your vehicle needs a stable roof rack rated to carry the weight of the tent plus the people inside. Always check your vehicle manual and your rack's load rating.

What's the difference with the Trailhead Pro?
The Trailhead is the lighter, 3-season version. The Trailhead Pro adds four-season fabrics, a thicker mattress, an integrated driving cover and cross bars on top.

Shipping

This tent ships by LTL truck freight on a pallet. The carrier will contact you to schedule delivery, and residential deliveries are made curbside. Please inspect the package for damage before signing.
