The Tuff Stuff Ranger 65 is a spacious soft shell roof top tent that sleeps three full-sized adults. It's 10" larger than the original Ranger, comes with a 2.75" foam mattress already installed, and folds up with all your bedding inside so you're ready to sleep the moment you open it.

Room for Three

Open, the Ranger 65 gives you a 64" x 95" sleeping area, and the overhang extends the tent to 132" for covered entry. Three mesh windows keep air flowing, and the tent can be mounted to unfold to the left or right side of your vehicle.

Built to Handle the Weather

The tent body is made from 280G poly/cotton rip-stop with a PU-coated 420D Oxford rain fly. It's waterproof and, when properly secured, holds up to high winds. A black 1000D waterproof PVC cover protects it on the road.

Installation

• Install time is about 1-2 hours with 2 people.
• Crossbars must carry at least 150 lbs and be at least 32.5" apart (45" maximum recommended). Brackets fit crossbars up to 3.25" wide.
• Ideal mounting height is 76"-78" above the ground.
• On a pickup, a truck bed rack is strongly recommended.

FAQ

Will this tent fit my vehicle?
Roof top tents are not vehicle-specific. Make sure your roof rack and vehicle are rated for the weight of the tent plus the people inside.

Can it open from either side?
Yes, it can be mounted to fold open to the left or right side of the vehicle.

Is it easy to set up?
It's easier than most soft shell tents. After a little practice, setup takes about 10-15 minutes.

Does it hold up in wind and rain?
Yes. The tent is waterproof, comes with a rain fly, and holds up to high winds when secured correctly.

Why is there moisture inside on cold nights?
The temperature difference between inside and outside causes condensation. An anti-condensation mat and keeping the vents open help a lot.

Do I need to air it out after camping?
Yes. Clean and air it out after every trip to prevent mold and mildew.

Shipping

This tent ships by LTL truck freight on a pallet. The carrier will contact you to schedule delivery, and residential deliveries are made curbside. Please inspect the package for damage before signing.
