23ZERO Kabari Z Aluminum Z-Lift Hard Shell Roof Top Tent

The 23ZERO Kabari Z is a next-generation aluminum hard shell roof top tent built for serious overland travel. Its innovative Z-lift geometry delivers massive headroom and true four-way access, while keeping the slim, aerodynamic profile of a clamshell when closed.

Two Tents in One: Clamshell or Full Z-Lift

Developed by 23ZERO Australia and 23ZERO USA, the Kabari Z uses a multi-hinge, gas-assisted lift system. Open it like a traditional clamshell for a quick overnight stop, or fully deploy it into Z-lift mode for up to 58" of interior height, 360-degree views and four-way access. The structure stays stable and wind-resistant in a wide range of conditions.

Built to Last

The shell is laser-welded from 2 mm aluminum with smooth radius corners that reduce fatigue points. Underneath, an aluminum honeycomb base with a PVDF anti-oxidation coating supports a static load of over 1,000 lbs, yet the closed tent sits just 9.5" high on your rack.

Sleep Cooler, Darker and More Comfortable

A 2.4" self-inflating mattress lets you adjust firmness, and a 10 mm insulated underlay helps manage condensation and heat loss. ECO13B fabric with Light Suppression Technology (LST) blocks heat and sunlight so you can sleep in. Oversized entry awnings, triangular mesh windows and 125 gsm insect screens keep air moving while protecting you from the weather.
